We endeavour to reach people by word, example and deeds. Below, I have gathered together some of the outreach projects that we are currently working on.

Madagascar  - Father Georges

We have been supporting Father Georges for several years.
He has visited our Church in Killamarsh..
 
 
Dances

Many social evenings are held in St. Giles' Church Hall. (Licensed)

January to March 2008, every Friday - 9am - 12 noon
Cafe Aroma in the precinct - Killamarsh
Serving Fairtrade coffee/tea for all visitors.

An invitation for everyone to come back to Church, whatever reasons there may be to have stayed away in the past.
 
 
 
 
ALPHA Course

September 2008 we will start another 10 week Alpha course.
Covering topics like;               Details
      • How can we have faith?
      • Why and How do I Pray?
      • Does God heal today?
      • What does the Holy Spirit do?
Each session starts with a simple meal, followed by a DVD to watch and space for discussion.

Samaritans Purse

This annual project enables caring individuals, families, schools, churches, businesses, and other organisations to fill ordinary shoe boxes with small toys, school supplies, sweets, and other gifts for needy children around the world.
Operation Christmas Child sends a message of hope to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes.  
Over
140 boxes were filled for the 2007 appeal, and collected from St Giles Parish Church by "The Samaritans Purse"
